Coimbatore Chapter | Since 2022
Tuition Centre
Situated in a socio-economically challenged locality of Upliyanthatu, the first Centre, which started in 2022, reaches out to children from families of daily wage workers. Many of these children face inconsistent schooling or have dropped out for various difficult reasons. This centre, ably managed with dedication, offers educational support and emotional care in an environment where learning is not prioritized at home.
A second tuition centre - The SecondCentre - has a team of committed teachers who invest wholeheartedly in the lives of the children. Currently, 19 students attend regularly and are visibly growing in confidence, learning, and character. They are consistently helped beyond the classroom with personality development as well
The HOPE–TORCH Modules are being used in both the centres and have been found to be very effective
Medical Outreach
A monthly medical camp is conducted by a volunteer doctor for students in a girls’ hostel. This ensures consistent basic healthcare for the residents.
A transition in medical volunteers recently took place, and we are grateful for the seamless continuation of this outreach.

Nagercoil Chapter
Vellamadam Tuition Centre , Nagarcoil has been a consistent source of support and encouragement to the community in Vellamadam. The teaching team has been faithfully serving since the centre’s inception, providing academic guidance and personal care to the children. Looking ahead, the teachers will be undergoing further training through HOPE–TORCH in 2025, equipping them with enhanced tools to mentor and inspire their students more effectively.
To mark the close of another fruitful year, the children participated in a Talent Show on Tuition Day, celebrating their learning journey. This event not only showcased their inherent talents but also played a role in building their confidence and self-expression.

Pondicherry Chapter
The first tuition centre is led by a dedicated committed and capable team of teachers who have been instrumental in supporting the students consistently.
The second centre, recently established, is already showing encouraging growth with 39 children attending regularly. It is heartening to see such strong initial engagement, and we look forward to the impact this new centre will have in the community.

Tambaram Chapter
Located in a low-lying area prone to floods and natural disasters, the Tambaram Centre in Tiruneermalai continues to serve as a safe haven for children in the community.
The centre provides educational support and nutritious meals on weekdays. Currently, 28 children, ranging from kindergarten to secondary school, attend regularly and benefit from the consistent care and guidance.
The centre operates from a partially constructed home, generously offered by the host family to support the initiative. In a heartwarming gesture this Christmas, the Tambaram team decided to complete the structure as a gift of gratitude and encouragement. The team installed doors, window shields, and reinforced weaker sections of the building to ensure safety and functionality. The cementing and painting work was completed by the third week of January 2025.This act of service not only strengthened the physical space but also deepened the spirit of community and compassion that defines this ministry.

Tirunelveli Chapter
The GLOVE Tirunelveli Chapter hosted a Generosity Meet on October 24, 2024 — a day-long gathering focused on cultivating a spirit of generosity and exploring its practical outworking within the local context.
With a heart to serve, the Tirunelveli Chapter remains committed to partnering with the local community to implement these plans and serve as God’s hands and feet in the region.
We started a tuition centre for 5 children and fixed a tuition teacher for them. She trained them for the last one month of 2024-2025.

Madurai Chapter
The Madurai Chapter, in collaboration with Arulagam, continues to support destitute women through empowerment initiatives focused on skill-building and self-esteem enhancement. Through various programmes, the chapter actively contributes to restoring dignity, purpose, and hope in the lives of these women for a better future. These programmes include preparation and sate of Biriyani, compost preparation and kitchen gardening. Regular counselling and recreational activities are also conducted for them from time to time
